Did Biden just do something that requires him to be removed from office?

Biden just stated that
"the Second Amendment is not absolute" after Texas mass shooting"

If I'm remembering correctly, Biden swore an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States when he took office:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Anyway, he just publicly stated his intention to NOT fulfill the duties he swore to undertake as part of his oath of office.
We fought 2 wars, the War for Independence, and the War of 1812, in part to be free of a government that tried to ban the import
of guns and gunpowder to Americans.

Since he just essentially publicly stated that he won't fulfill his oath, doesn't that mean that he just said he won't do his job that he swore an oath to do?

Nice propaganda talking point.

Not a single right in the bill of rights is "absolute." ALL end when they infringe on the rights of others. Full fucking stop.

There is no such thing as absolute freedom or rights. ALL have limits when it comes to those rights and freedom infringing on the rights and freedoms of others.

Only a toddler storms around in a tantrum demanding absolute freedom while infringing on the freedoms of others.

What he said is accurate. You want Biden to be removed from office because he understands the constitution better than you do, lol.

Sounds more like you should be thanking Biden for protecting the country from people who don’t understand the Constitution such as yourself.

You ever hear of an Amendment? Any concept of what those are? You idiots think it’s a winning argument to say someone who understands the Constitution while you don’t should be removed?

Tell us you don't understand the constitution without telling us you don't understand the constitution.

None of the rights/freedoms mentioned are absolute, and that has held in numerous court decisions. Your life/liberty can be taken from you in certain circumstances, your speech can be limited in circumstances. Hell, even Scalia in Heller said that 2A has limits.

Now, GFY.

Even in the ruling that vastly expanded so-called gun rights well beyond the clear language of the second amendment the Supreme Court itself expressly recognized that the Second Amendment is not absolute and the government does have the power to reasonably regulate gun ownership and usage.

OP's basis for faux outrage is not based in reality (given username, no big surprise there).

Even Scalia said regulations on firearms are constitutional.

You need better material

What a fucking dumb ass statement by you!! First off, the current interpretation of the 2nd is an aberration compared to the 150 years of precedent. As we have seen though, historical interpretation of the constitution doesn’t matter, what matters is who you stack the court with.
Second, when the freedoms and right to liberty of US citizens is threatened by such a ruling the president and all other elected officials have a choice between providing for the general welfare of the people or allowing people to be armed. A sane person would choose the former as the latter is a direct threat to our democracy. Democracy threatened by a gun is not democracy, its authoritarianism.

Let me repeat that because your dumb ass clearly doesn’t get what this country is about:

Democracy threatened by a gun is not democracy, its authoritarianism.
