Did AT lose anybody in the tsunami?

People come and go so frequently it would be almost impossible to tell. Unless someone here actually knew someone who was in the area. Kind of a pointless question really. 1/10

yeh, tell me about it...i don't know what I would do if I lost one of em. Im pretty lucky that I have yet to experience the death of someone close to me, but this whole tsunami thing was pretty close to taking 2 of my buddies lives...

This is not a thread where your rating matters. If you read the thread itself, you'd find out that somebody already checked in on another AT member who could have been in the area.

OK quick - anyone who died in the tsunami that frequents AT forums, post here!

*cough*

doesn't really work. No other good way to do it, too many users (100k) to notice when a couple have gone missing. Closest you could hope for is if they have family/friends that are also AT members.

Inconsiderate a$$hole
Why is he an inconsiderate asshole?

For trying to be a smarta$$ in a thread that is trying to see if everyone is safe and alive?
I don't see how what he said makes him a smartass. Chill.

The first part of the message WAS me being a smartass, its just in my nature. The second part, however, is the truth..

I'm from Thailand. But working in PA right now.

Anyways, if you have any Thai friends, most likely they are fine. Almost all the Thais live in Bangkok. I hardly know any Thais who are not from Bangkok.

What we should be concerned about are the ATers who take vacation to Phuket.

Anyways, I didnt get to check AT forums at all the past week, was on vacation, so there's no need to procastinate 😛
