The Brazil F1 GP that is.

I was pretty sure Schumi would take this one easily, considering he had pole position and that if it would start to rain he would dominate as he always does. Today I'm not so impressed anymore. I feel he sucked big-time.

I am however VERY impressed with the way Juan Pablo Montoya passed him and managed to pull away. There is no doubt in my mind that he wouldn't have won the whole race hadn't it been for that idiot Verstappen. When you watch the slowmo's afterwards its quite obvious that he made a huge mistake. I realize its easy for me to say when I'm sitting at home in my favourite TV-couch with a lager in my hand, but IMO, when you're being lapped the greatest precaution should be taken to see to it that you do not disturb the drivers who are in front of you (or behind from a different point of view in this case).

And Barichello! What a sucker the poor bastard is (sad but true). I don't recall ever seeing such clumpsiness ever displayed on the track (by the top-ten drivers anyway). He blamed it on the other driver going to the right but I never saw him going that much left, he just maintained his course as he was supposed to do. Oh well...

So whats your take on this race? The future? I think Schumacher needs to rethink his current "strategy" if he wants to maintain the lead (I actually think he will ;)). Montoya has proven to be someone to count on. I'm very excited to see what the next races will bring.

That WC race yesterday was awesome. Too bad people were losing it too often near the end. EVERYONE was driving for that one. Kinda amusing how gordon was in the to 10 almost the entire time yet never led a single lap.

it looked like Rubens and Jos were thinking the same thinng in that race. I thought that the first half of Malaysia was more exciting though.

If they had not had to bring out the safety car because of the weird start problems, Schumi was in very good position to take the win - he had built a good lead on the field and Montoya would not have been able to draw close enough to make that audacious pass.

That said, the moral victory has to go to Montoya - he showed the heart of a lion and he should be a threat to win the overall championship for years to come.
