Did anyone take CLEP tests and get credits?

I am wondering. Before I start college back up, I am thinking of taking a bunch of CLEP tests.

Are they offered for all classes or does it depend on where you goto school? I'd really like to get some of my gen-eds out of the way if I could

When I was in the Army, I took them for sh!ts and grins. Tested out of about the first 1 1/2 years.
