Did anyone "seriously" watch Swingtown last night?

I caught the first 10 minutes or so of Swingtown before going to bed last night (just cause it was on after CSI and I left the TV on while getting ready for bed).

My question - did anyone seriously watch it? As in with an interest about the story line, cast background, etc (ie: Do you read the articles in Playboy?).

I don't understand how they could possibly make a show like that with a straight face, other than expecting people to think they're going to see sex, sex and more sex, and after that there's going to be even more sex. The premise of Swingtown seems even more stupid than Seinfeld's premise - which was a show about nothing! (Not saying Seinfeld was bad though, it was a comedy!) I fully expect this show to get canceled in fairly short order, but it probably won't.

It's a pathetic attempt to make a "Sex in the City/Desprate Housewifes" spinoff. Poor.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. My wife and I watched the first 10 minutes or so then turned it off. Just not that interesting.

I did find the era-appropriate things like smoking on the plane, ugly gold watches and Tab quite amusing though.

Seriously too... but the Tab spot in the show made me crack up.

I was wrong. Yesterday was Wednesday, not Thursday.

Tonight's episode is Double Exposure.:D

Hoping to repair the damaged friendship, Susan asks Janet to help plan a housewarming party, but Trina rattles things with a padded guest list and a twist on fondue.
