Yeah, i agree... the first half hour was good... even up to the point where he delivered the girl. But after that, it was so predictable.

You missed it. It was the part of the movie where the baddies were peppering his house with guns and rockets.

I was just about to start a thread on this.

I have viewed the DVD many times, and can say with confidence that scene does not occur in the USA/Canada version of the movie. Perhaps internationally, but not here. I agree it was cheesy, but it wasn't even in the "Deleted Scenes" reel on the disc.
