It started with the guy jacking a Lexus in a Lowes parking lot. He somehow crashed and flipped the Lexus. A doctor driving an Infiniti SUV stopped to help the guy, and he jacked the SUV at gunpoint.
From there, he made his way to a truck stop, and jacked a husband/wife/dog trucking trio's rig. He kicked the husband out, but kept the wife and dog. From there, he forced the seasoned trucker to drive west on I-20 through several cities and counties until police shot the trucks radiator and fuel tank. (smart?)
Once the truck stopped, the black guy pulled the lady into the sleeper of the rig, and closed the curtain. Eventually, she got out and SWAT shot in 5 or so tear gas canisters.
The chased lasted for approximately 4 hours. Very tense.
