i went to the Cake concert last night. i was really disappointed...the opening act had its moments. but cake took so long to set up (something like 30 min) and whats up with that whole audience participation crap! john mccrea, the lead singer, walks off stage for 5 min. during the song "fashion nugget" cuz ppl didnt sing the righ lyrics. he only came back once ppl sang it correctly (so the crowd spent 5 min. shouting "shut the fvk up" until the ppl realized there was no "up" ). as a result of this crap their set was only an hour long cuz they didnt wanna stay longer b/c of venue fees.
