Did anyone see on Ripley's Believe It or Not the Cat and the Mouse that are friends? It is pretty amazing.

The cat even grooms the mouse like its his or her kitten. Pretty amazing i would say. I never seen a cat and a mouse get along so well. I guess it shows the worst of enemies can get along.

Actually, it's not hard at all to make that happen. You just have to make sure that the cat has not been taught to chase mice (yes, that's a learned behavior, kittens learn it from observing other cats) and a mouse that has not learned to be afraid of cats (again, it's learned from observing other mice). There are lots of country families where the dogs get along just fine with the barn cats.

I've seen cats and birds get along just fine. My sister has a 60lb Amstaff and we've got pictures of her cuddling this teenie tiny kitten that was barely weened. She licked that thing to a frazzle, big slobbery dog tongue, the poor kitten was always wet, fur all messed up. But she loved that kitten.
