Hey there,

I watched the SNL special yesterday and I didnt have a tape to record it.
Did anyone happen to record that ?? It's the one where Golem steals a
super-bowl ring and the sports announcer has to bribe him. 😀
I thought it was great. Anyone have it ??

Ok Gollum....
rolleye.gif
.......does anyone have the clip of it ??

Thanks

It was on last night during Saturday night live. They did a spoof on the super-bowl.
During the broadcast, a news anchor tries to talk about the super-bowl ring which he can't find.
After a bit Gollum jumps on the network and starts to cause a commotion.
It's funny all the same. You all really should see it. 😀
When I was watching I thought cheap SNL comedy and all. Then Gollum comes out of now-where.
I had to take a second look. My wife and I looked at each other and cracked up laughing the
entire time. 😀

BTW- I think it was on NBC....

<FONT size=2>I just got an email from UCLA's Campus events. They put on movies and concerts on campus, one of thier weekly things is a trivia contest. And I was hoping that you guys could help me out with this. The question was:

Q: For those of you watching the Super bowl, or not,</FONT>
<FONT size=2> SNL put together a Weekend Update halftime show</FONT>
<FONT size=2> special for the occasion. During a skit "Gollum"</FONT>
<FONT size=2> appeared and gave his 2 cents on the outcome of the</FONT>
<FONT size=2> game. Who did he reason would win and which snl cast</FONT>
<FONT size=2> member played him?</FONT>

It sounds like Steve Buscemi played gollum, but who did he say would win? If you are a UCLA student, I can send you the email address to answer to, so you too can win a LOTR poster!

It was Chris Katan that played the character, the same guy who plays "Peepers"

Steve Buschemi isn't a SNL cast member. chris katan played Gollum but if I remember, he flip-flopped on who would win. first said buccs then gave reasons for the Oakland.
