Some kids down the street were playing it today and it made me remember when we played it. Did anyone else here play it?

BTW It was just the name of the game because the guy with the ball was the odd man so we smeared him. We had nothinging against homosexuals.

actually we played smear the canadian.... it is a variant of smear the queer where you just go after the canadian kid all the time.

We called it "Fumblelina". It sounds like the same game. Someone runs with the ball till they get (gang)tackled, then they cough the ball up for someone else to grab it and run with it until they get tackled. Great fun as a kid . It hurts thinking about it as a 43 year old adult.

we used to play that all the time, one of the only contact games i liked. the teachers used to get so mad at us for calling it that.

I've never understood why pro football didn't adopt smear the queer rules. It would make the game so much more exciting.
