Apparently a bunch of ATMs were compromised to capture card and PIN info from unsuspecting customers.
A device made to look like the ATM itself can be attached to the card input slot. Then, a customer will be asked to input their PIN 3 times to get their card back. Little did they know that their info was stolen and then later retrived by the hacker.
does anyone have a link to this story? and .... WTF! ya can't shop online anymore or get money from the ATM. from now on, we should withdraw money from the teller in person?! :|
