Did anyone get their Halo for PC?

What are your thoughts for the PC port? Well worth the hype and wait?

I read reviews that the game suffers framerate drops in high resolutions, including high end graphics cards. I think I'll stay away from this POS until it drops in price.

I got it, but whenever I try to run it I get some stupid Direct 3D error.... I have the latest DirectX, vid driver, etc...

who the hell autographed it? Why would you want a game designer/producer/whatever to autograph a copy of your game for you... If you paid extra for that I'm going to laugh at you

I am not going to get it for PC, XBConnect is spectacular. I almost went in for the fuel rod gun, rocket warthog, and new mp levels, but then I fragged some fools online over XBC and the crazy urge to splurge left me. I need to be able to afford Halo 2 eventually, you know!

For some reason xbconnect doesn't work for me. I hook up my Xbox to my router and I can connect to the system link screen in Halo and the Xbox is identified by xbc. But when I try to join a game it doesn't work. My xbox never recieves any data or anything

The fact that a new game will not run well on my high-end system is one reason why I stay away from new games such as this. I don't care how great the gameplay is -- if I can't enjoy because my framerates are dropping into the 20's with 1024x768 resolution, then I don't bother.

But then again, what do you expect --- it's a console port

Funny how that "console" sports a 733 Celeron, Geforce graphics, and a Windows 2000 kernel

i plaied teh beta liked it. i dont need it to have 100000FPS it was playable in its beta form. just a lil unfinished. the finished version will be fine.

i will love every second of it.

I beat it on Xbox on legendary and ill do it again on PC.

even it its beta form its better then that sh!tty HL game you are all waiting for

If you have a router, you have to open up your ports.
