Mine came today...

THIS is what they sent to me. In a bit, i will throw a coppermine celeron into it, and see what happens. It does look like it's only for PPGA, but I'm pretty sure there is a workaround to get FCPGA to work, and i have a slightly modified chip that'll be a good test of that.

I'll have more info on gettin it to work with FCPGA by tomorrow, but think it's still a good deal to get ANY slotket for $9 delivered.

I picked up one of these slotkets to use with a 566@850 Celeron. This cpu previously worked with an MSI 6905 2.3 slotket just fine. This slotket will not even boot up so I'm sure its a PPGA only slotket. I did not buy mine from Newegg but did return it to where I did purchase it from. I picked up another MSI 6905 v 2.3 and that worked fine. Good Luck on the returns

Who even sells slockets these days? I can't seem to find them. I did get one for $5 when I purchased a CPU with it, but does anyone sell them separately?

I have had good luck with a couple of these linky.
I have one system with a Celeron 366 running at 550, and another running at 900Mhz Celeron(FCPGA),
both on old Abit Slot1 motherboards. Seem to work fine. Please no lectures on buying namebrand,
etc. The price is good, and they worked for me.

What mb are you running those chips on longhorn? I've got a BH6 with a 300a@450 I want to upgrade, but I keep hearing mixed reports about running FCPGAs with slotkets.

Also, which Celerons use the 100mHz bus speed? Was 800 the first one?

The 366@550 is running on an old BH6 rev 1.03. It has been a great processor, this is it's third home, and it
always overclocked to 100Mhz FSB at default voltage. Steady as a rock. This just went into a system I threw
together for my brother out of odds and ends I had laying about.

The 900 celeron is on a BX6-Rev2. It's running only slightly overclocked, FSB is 106. The processor
was about $50 at newegg, and with a $5 slocket, I went way up on speed for little dinero.
This box used to have the 366@550 in it. Not sure how this slocket does FCPGA, as there
is no jumper to differentiate between PPGA and FCPGA, but it worked both ways.
