Did anyone find the solution for setting up a non-hotmail email address for MSN?

I tried to setup my Rogers email address for MSN, but it won't verify.. (no email to verify with)

so a search on Google groups told me that apparently other people have had the same problem.. does anyone know how to get around this? apparently it's common nowdays.

My friend has it setup to use Rogers address but when you are trying to set-up a non-hotmail address nowdays it doesn't work anymore.
 
Not tried recently, but about a year ago I set up my ISP email address for MSN, and that worked fine. I am thinking of signing up a new email address for MSN (my current one is full of people I don't ever talk to) probably in the next couple of days. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and letting you know my experiences 🙂
