Well, this show just proves again why watching network television is a complete waste of effort and brain cells.
Cruising through the channels, switched over to network TV from satellite. The show Cold Case on CBS, I think, is just starting. Never have seen it so figured I'd leave it on while I read. It's about an old murder investigation that died from lack of the shooter.
They just found the suspected shooter's body, dead of course, and reopen the case. The detectives are interviewing the parents of the suspect when Dad says, in that all-knowing tone, "He was a good kid, straight A's, until he got into THAT music."
What music could he be talking about? Hip-hop? Metal rock? Polka?
No...........he was referring to that most evil of music......................DISCO!!!!!!!!!
I almost died laughing when I heard that. Just reaffirms that network television is inane, asinine, and a waste of time, electricity, and brain cells.
