Did anyone else have a snow day today?

I got up today at about 10:00 to go to class and I noticed that it was snowing, and there was no way in hell my car was going to make it up the hill, so I got a ride from my dad in his truck. When I got to the university, I did some homework, and then I headed to class, when I got there I found out that my classes were cancelled because the teachers couldn't make it. So I came home, it is nice not having to go to school because of the snow, but the fact that there is so much ice is sh!tty. Did anyone else get snow? and get their classes cancelled or not have to go to work or something today?

It was pretty sweet for me, cause most of my teachers couldn't make it so I just went home, and the assignment that was due today in physics isn't due till next week.

It was 70 here today, gray and dank and so humid it makes you feel sticky when you go outside. I will be glad when the normal winter weather arrives.

Good grief, what a bunch of wussalopes. It is -14°F here in Fairbanks, Alaska today. We've had snow on the ground for 2 months. The schoolkids *have* to go outside for recess until it get colder than -20°F.

We don't start cancelling anything until around -50°F.

I was so pissed off. It was suppose to snow in Vancouver today. Got rain instead. Well we did get some snow on Burnaby mountain where I work but that does not count. I always snows up here ;).

nope, but I can't wait for the first one we have this year, usually have 2-3 here in Indiana. Nothing better than waking up with that "Man I really don't want to get up today" feeling like I do every day, and then for once realizing you don't have to.

it's about 60 degrees and partly cloudy here. There's a couple puddles left over from yesterday... does that count?

We thought we were going to get either Wed or Thursday off, but Tuesday night it wasn't cold enough for ice (got rain), and Wed. night there was no precipitation. They'll cancel for 2 inches of ice here (Dallas, TX).

I want snow. :(

Today it was 73F, wet, windy, humid, moldy, dank, and otherwise blah.
