First go to "www.lindows.com" and setup a free account so that you can login to their order form.

Next go to "www.lindows.com/btorder" which is the specific link for this (from the announcement on the web page) free Lindows/Linspire download.

Then enter the coupon code "LINDOWS" (no quotes) for the "BitTorrent-Only Isos item".

Last, go download the copy from the "Downloads" link. :)

Me too, just upgraded my dropline to 2.6.0, this distro rocks.

Yes, but I think it's time for another Slackware release with the 2.6 kernel.

In complete agreement...

anyway, yes, I did try it. it was...funny, hardly earns the name of a linux distro. so, I install linspire, and reboot. 2 min later(this was on a 339 mhz K6 w/ 128mb of ram, 6 gb HD), the lindowified KDE boot screen appears. before this finishes, it crashes. :( :(

So, I pop in my LindowsOS live evaluation CD, and it works fine.

Next, boot off knoppix, and check HD usage of lindows - 23% on /, and 1 gb swap. there is also a 50% used /boot partition. that is all of the used partitions.

This is definitely NOT a recommended distro.
