Laverne did die.

Everyone went to the bar except JD and Cox's wife. Cox's wife was so pissed that nobody was going to congratulate her that when JD asked if he could be the child's godfather, she said yes. JD asked if they could name the baby Jennifer Dillan (JD) and she also responded why the hell not.

was this the first ep on scrubs that was on HD? i noticed in their site, it's listed as being aired in HD. if so, i think this was probaly the first time it aired like that..
