Did anyone buy snes chrono Trigger back in the day?

This was a LOT of lawns mowed when you're barely 15

I'm fairly certain I paid the same price for Chrono Trigger.

Obviously you've never played Chrono Trigger.

Chrono Trigger was good, but I didn't think it was that much better than any of the other SNES RPGS: FF2, FF3, Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire, Illusion of Gaia, just to name a few.

FF3 was alright, FF2 was even better, SD2 was ok, SD3 was even better.
The remaining you listed are not comparable IMO.

Yes, I feel Chrono Trigger is better than all the RPG's you've listed so far.

I wasn't able to find Ogre Battle on SNES when I was looking for it, but luckily I did buy Ogre Battle 64.
Much better than FF: Tactics IMO.

I also like that they got rid of those Tarot cards in the N64 version.

Everything was clean and in good condition when I got it (manual, original box, and barely any scratches on the cartridge).

Might as well have been new.

I remember seeing games at around $60-$70 but the Genesis games (Phantasy Star IV) usually were a bit pricier. I still remember the days when I'd go to Toys-R-Us to get games and I'd go play the games they had on demo there in the store. Reminds me of my first time I got a blister on my finger from playing Tekken 1 at TRU.

I have the PS1 version (the one combined with FF5 - I think its FF5, will check tonight) as well as Chrono Cross. I still play Chrono Trigger, beat it again about a week ago and I'm on New Game + and just broke out of prison. It will never leave my possession, along with FF7/Armoured Core (all PS1 versions, Master of Arena FTFW), along with my original PS1 which I play them on. Old games > new games.

Edit: Forgot to add, it was 65.99$ when I was a lad.

I'm not sure how much I paid for CT back in the day, but I remember selling it to one of those video game reselling stores, I decided I didn't want to sell it and they refused to give it back (of course they would get their money back too). Those bastards... but the worst part is, I went in there later on and they were selling the game as brand new! I knew it was mine as I'm the weird person that literally kept the cellophane wrap on his SNES boxes (only cut a flap open so the thing could be opened up) and I put it in and there were my save files.

My brother ended up buying another SNES copy a couple years ago along with FFVI and FFIV.
