Did anyone actually win the $1billion from Pepsi

I was just going through my junk drawer and found a couple of pepsi caps from that promotion they were running this summer. IIRC, the top prize was $1billion. WTF every happened?

Also, one of the caps I found says "you win $15" can I still cash it in??

did pepsi guarantee that someone would have the 1 billion dollar number because i watched the game show and if someone was guaranteed to have the 1 billion dollar number the

No one was guaranteed to have the 1 billion dollar number. Pepsi actually took out insurance against the small chance they would actually have to pay out a billion dollars.
