Did anybody here actually like the Doom movie?

If Doom were the onboard movie on a flight I'd seriously try to get up and leave the aircraft.

I thought it was HILARIOUS. But I was stone drunk at the time, so perhaps that's the kind of mindset one requires to appreciate it?

For a video game movie, it was good as that type of movie could be. I liked it...of course I had a few before I went to see it...and had a few more after.

It was ok, just don't go in expecting that much. It's short so you don't really get a feeling of wasting your time on it 😛

Atleast watching the movie isn't as expensive as it was to purchase Doom 3... boy did I unwisely waste my money...

It's far from the worst movie I've seen, but it was probably the worst one I watched at the cinema in 2005. It held together reasonably well and the effects had nothing to complain about, it just didn't really have any point and the Rock was unable to rescue it from mediocrity.

The scene with 'I've got... one round' was pretty cool, if for no other reason than the BFG being just as useless in the hands of a newb as it is in the game, and for the same reason.
