It was basically a computer game version of Clancy's Red Storm Rising . . . you led a US fleet through several campaigns, one of which was a conventional WW3 between NATO and the Warsaw Pact. Man, that was a great game - even though I played it on my Commodore 64. 
Are there any comparable PC games, whether recent or possibly to be found in the bargain bin? Seems like everything is a sim, first-person shooter, or flying game now-a-days.
