Did any of you Mastercard users get new cards lately?

I have a Mastercard Debit card through my bank and I tried to use it today. I got an "account closed" notice. When I got home, I got a new card with a new number. The old card wasn't set to expire until 2007.

I'm wondering what's going on.

Yours was probably one of the numbers that got compromised about a month ago.

Sweet. That might explain why I seem lower on funds than I should be.

I didn't notice the other piece of mail.

They're sending my PIN seperately, which sucks because I use my card for everything.

Ah, well. At least they're looking out for me. :beer:

You can still do signature transactions at most places though
