FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE GAME:
(and I got the thing early so I had some weekendtime to play etc)
NO SPOILERS so feel free to read on..

Reminds me of Half Life 2 if you added more "Stuff" and by stuff I mean, Weapons and all these advancements to your character!

The story so far is very good, some interesting back story you hear as you progress. The sound is great, definitely play with the sound cranked on a good system if you have one.

The controls feel nice and fluid, no complaints.

I think the single thing I enjoy most is just the atmosphere the game creates, you really feel like you are in an underground world, exploring all this havoc. Anyone who enjoys action with a pinch of strategy, pick this up for at least a weekend rental to see if you would enjoy it. So far, only a few hours into it, this is definitely a worthwhile single player FPS adventure.

Got it at Walmart last night at midnight.

I thought that the game was going to be too easy from the demo, but I was very surprised right when I got past that point. I got to the first fight w/ Big Daddy, and it was great. He stomped my ass.

Just grabbed the 2nd to the last copy from an otherwise empty shelf at Best Buy. Guy said they had about 50 copies when they opened at 10am. I guess I shouldnt have been surprised it sold so well considering the reviews, but there are usually 10X demand on the shelves for a new game.

Cant play it till after work, so no review .

Just got it from Circuit City. Can't wait till I get home. The box says downloadable content. I wonder what they have planned or do they just put that on all boxes now. I really wish there was multiplayer but I have a feeling from the demo that this is going to be the best single player experience ever.


49.99 if you got a Circuit City near you. Good deal. It seems to be 59.99 everywhere else.

I picked it up at Target for full price. Circuit City didn't have it in stock near me. I wanted to call and confirm, but the last time I checked for stock over the phone, it was like trying watch jar jar bink's clips looped endlessly.

I just picked up a 360 copy at the local Fry's for 49.99 at lunch. It seems they had the PC version and the 360 version prices backwards, as the PC versions where marked 59.99.

I got my PC version there at about 11:00, I ordered it on the web around 10:15 and set it for pickup, no problems. I didn't go back to shelf to see how many they had for both PC and 360. What time did you get there?

dagnabit!!! I just got home. I have a stupid web app going live at work tomorrow. Bioshock guys should have consulted me for the release date.
I probably can't play this until tomorrow night, that is if my stupid web crap doesn't blow up.
