Did an Apple Store trip today

the new macbook air - wow - the 11" with 16:9 looks wrong - 13" is the only way to go. i dunno working on 16:9 is nasty i need the 16:10. Thank god i took a look at one - and the lack of backlit keyboard - that is ghetto. they've moved the MBA from elite status to lowest end model status 🙁

I've always wanted an 11.6" Mac laptop. Once I got one in my hands, I did think it was pretty neat, but then I played with the 13" and now THAT is what I want 😛 The extra 1.4" and higher resolution really help on that little laptop. If I need really super awesome ultra portability, I'd get the 11.6", but the 13" is just so much more usable.

exactly. 16:9 is just atrocious for me...i really cant stand it. the 13" is where its at - 1440x900 is plain awesome. i think the decked out 13" air (2.13, 256GB SSD, 4GB of ram) would be an awesome secondary machine...if it had a backlit keyboard and a matte screen (the two things keeping me from even considering one).
