Ohhhhh my gosh... %42.

I was waaaay off on so many!

Still, one could argue that although nutty, that Ted guy had some good ideas? No? I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here.

Doh, I got 75%

Since both gore and the unabomber had "environmental" agendas, it is not surprising that excerpts taken from each individual could be confused with the other. I wouldn't put any faith in the correlation the web site is trying to draw. I happen to agree with a few of the statements made... does that mean I will be the unabomber? No.

Again, think for yourselves.

75% but I guessed on all of them ;)

Does this mean we might as well elect the Unabomber?

Jeez - I scored a mere 17%. In all fairness, there is nothing especially controversial about any of these statements, and it is not as though Gore is some kind of technophobe (he did invent the Internet, after all :)).

Gore's an enviromental nutjob, but since he lost and his politcal career is over. We don't have to worry about him anymore.

Why would we not? People know Al Gore is pro environment, and the majority of Americans voted for him. Now I don't see what the point of comparing him to unabomber is? The problem with the unabomber is not his writing, but his bombing. Should we assume that anyone who cares for the environment is a terrorist? Should we also compare anyone who doesn't like large federal government to Timothy McVeigh?
When GWB learns to articulate a complete sentence, maybe we can compare him to someone too :)
Then again, the guy has no core values to write about, and I doubt he can even fill a page with his beliefs without mentioning baseball and fishing.

And before you start calling me a looney, I am not an outdoorsy kind of guy, so I don't really care for the environment.

In Gore's defence I'm sure you could make a similar page abotu "Was it Bush or Hitler", things sound funny when taken out of context.
