In the American market it is usually clear or coloured brown and vanilla or bubble gum flavoured. Canadian cream soda is almost always pink and has a unique taste somewhat reminiscent of grenadine

I had a friend who told me that Canadian ketchup was slightly different too. He said it was sweeter, or something like that. Is there any truth to this?
