Did a clean install of Windows 7 and now itunes won't open Edit: Fixed Edit2: Broken

I can install it just fine...but when I double click on the icon it doesn't start. It shows up under processes in my task manager for a couple seconds, but then it disappears from there as well. Any ideas?

edit: I got 11.0 and that runs, but it can't load any of my playlists that I need because they're from a later version...I let it auto-update to 12.3 or whatever the current version is....and it stopped working; so it appears to be an issue with the latest version of iTunes, anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

edit2: Went with 12.2.2.25 which is the last version I had working, and the one that all my playlists are from, and it works fine. I'll just skip the update

Edit3: aaaaaaaaand this morning when I go to start it the program freezes...wtf is going on here

Is Windows 7 fully updated? Might as well eliminate that from the list of possible issues.
