Did 1709 kill your world of warships game?

I tried to play WOW today for the first time since the 1709 update and although the launcher works once you hit the play button it will crash once the splash screen loads. I was just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing? I'm on the latest client version which updated this morning.

You've been having so very many issues, across many different programs, that I'm starting to seriously wonder if you need to run some extensive hardware diagnostics, or consider a re-install. You've had MWB "eat" some of your other software, registry corruption, crashing, etc. I think that you at the very least need to run some hardcore RAM diagnostics on that machine, and if you have an overclock, remove it, and consider a fresh re-install, preferably with the re-install media created from another "stable" machine running at stock clocks.

It's just too sporadic and widespread to ignore, IMHO. I don't think that it can all be attributed to "just Windows glitches". No-one else had seemingly reported the glitches that you seem to be seeing.

Of course, if a couple more people chime in with, "Yeah, WOW won't launch for me either, in 1709", then I'll stand corrected. But until then, at least consider a RAM diagnostic pass.

Working fine here, just been in WOW for two hours , rock stable, I did my 1709 update via USB Media Tool rather then WU, so could be many reasons why you have issues, corrupted WOW maybe?.. You tried reinstalling game?

I clean installed in May and ditching malwarebytes was the right thing to do for my programs.😀

I uninstalled and reinstalled WOW to get it going again but every time I try to go full screen unwindowed at 3440x1440 it crashes so the client 0.6.12 update definitely is having an affect on it. It runs my native resolution windowed just fine. Gotta love that Halloween escort map.😀
