"I've never been able to understand his appeal. Maybe his mother loved him, but I've never met anybody who does. He's never won anything, as best I can tell," Cheney said in an interview to be aired Monday on Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes."

Dean was elected governor of Vermont five times between 1992 and 2000. He ran for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination but closed down his campaign after poor showings in early primaries.

OWNED!

From what folks from Vermont say he has done a pretty good job straightening the place out.

Usually people dog out their governor first thing...

(But this is from only a few people here and there I have met from vermont.)

Any opinions from anyone else from Vermont? Dean seems to be pretty well liked for his work in VT.

I have said it before, cheney is a pompous heartless blowhard. f' him...

Truth is the last thing we'll find in one of your scripted YABA trolls. Let's look at the truth, shall we:
  • Cheney: "He's never won anything, as best I can tell."
Truth: among other things, Dean was elected Governor of Vermont five times. Oopsie.
Sure looks to me like "go fsck yourself" Cheney is the "idiot who needs to think before he opens his mouth".

Dismissed.

Cheney is sort of like a spider. It moves like a robot, but it has no emotional warmth. Kind of like a walking dead.

He sleeps in the soil of his homeland in a basement crypt in the White House. It's his "undisclosed location" that we're always hearing about. I have this from a good source.

AnyMal told me.

If you ask me, they both need a large helping of STFU. Cheney has made some idiotic remarks, but that crap from Dean about Republicans never having made a honest living is sheer BS as well......

Cheney's F-ck comment was of a more personal nature, directed at a particular individual.

Dean's comments were made in a speech in front of an audience, and were based on untrue facts.

You be the judge.

There is absolutely no evidence for any of Dean's statements. When I heard them, I thought it was SNL parody.

Dean doesn't get it. You have to use these tactics like Karl Rove does. Not in the national media. In a whispering campaign.

Check this out

Asked by a reporter Sunday to reply to Cheney's criticisms, Dean said: "My view is that Fox News is a propaganda outlet of the Republican Party and that I don't comment on Fox News." The response drew applause from the room.

Can Dean get the rest of the party to fight? Or are they going to display the same courage they displayed against Bush in the run up to Iraq? A few Democratic senators are already criticizing Dean. Doing the Republicans job for them.

When are Democrats going to WTFU?

That was the only statement that had some truth to it, I will give you that. Nevertheless, the demographic is shifting.

That was the statement that has brought all of the angst from the GOP. So, if you are stating that it has truth, why all of the fuss?

Hardly. Even the so-called "rise" in African-American voters is a myth... why, you ask?

1. The "rise" is within the margin of error in the exit polls.

2. Tens of thousands (maybe more) were either caged, purged or made to wait in lines of 8 hours or more to vote.
