Funny, after nearly 5 years and 6404 posts I'd figure you'd have figured that out by now....

Poker and Blackjack offer considerably higher chances at winning. You actually have a chance to make money in the long run.
IIRC craps has a better than average rate of return as well, but I don't gamble so don't listen to me :D

Totally agree. But I've been lucky enough to win a couple of hundred everytime I've played craps. I've never left a loser at that game.

I've bought the books, but I've never created an actual practice thing that you can build.

Besides Poker, Craps is the best game to play provided the casino lets you put down the necessary amount of odds. I believe it's around 4x-5x or greater.

As for winning 200 times in a row, I call BS. You are claiming you have won at craps 200 times in a row? Simplifying things, if we assume that proper play gives you a 50% chance of winning (It's actually slightly less than this depending on the odds you place down), the chances of someone winning at craps 200 times in a row is likely near (1/2^200) = 1/(1.61× 10^60).

IOW, You probably have a better chance at winning powerball twice.

He won a couple of hundred dollars every time he played.

Geez, read.

Enlighten me as to the difference. You could do well to take your own advice.

Assume he'll win or lose a few hundred every time he plays (roughly 1/2 chance of each), then assume he's played about 4 times total. Odds are 1/16, not really outrageous.

edit: "played" in this case means one session of playing, not one roll.

Ouch. My apologies. I read it as he won the 200 times he has played. It's friday and I'm tired. Shoot me.
