Diapers...I have a mystery

when my kids used them you had to check to see if they done their business, now I guess they have a strip on them that turns blue if they have peed...but it doesnt notify you if they #2'ed in there.
So Im guessing you still need to check and if you do that kind of makes the strip useless for the most part or am I wrong?

We could usually tell #2 from a distance and definitely upon visual inspection from behind. It is much more difficult to tell #1 visually or from a distance.
