Diap-Up Networking in Win98SE Problem!!

Okay I can connect to the internet and all but it takes a long time to Verify the username and password. I am wondering what the problem is, I have a fast internet connection with a Netcomm Roadster 2. Thanx for your help guys.
 
In the dial up networking properties diable all network protocols except TCP/IP. This will speed up the conncect time because DUN does not have to go through trying all of the protocols to see if that particular one works.
