I can get the DiamondBack 3G for 39.99 at NewEgg, while Deathadder is $44.99 at my LOCAL Tigerdirect.

Hmmm

Well, I'd go with whichever is cheaper. I've never used either, but I'm getting a diamondback in a few weeks solely based on price. (It just has to be razer...)

Haha, same here. I'm currently using a generic Dell ball mouse. Just chose Razer over Logitech MX518 because, well, I want a Raze :D

Hmm...is there a way to get free shipping with NewEgg or no tax? I want to know the final cost of the Diamondback 3G at NewEgg and compare it to the DeathAdder over at my local TG.

Wait, I don't have USB 2.0. I think mine is 1.1 compliant.

Is this going to effect my mouse (either Diamondback or DeathAdder)?

no, it'll work fine, USB 2.0 is essential on for its increased bandwidth for devices like thumb drives and external hard drives, not input devices

But will USB 1.1 support the ultrapolling of the DeathAdder? That might be something to look into, for the Diamondback it shouldn't make a difference.

Both in question have the exact same guts, just different external design, and 1.1 will support the utrapolling without a problem.
