Diamond Viper V770 TNT2 ULTRA 32MB with Intel D850MV...does it work?

Will a Diamond Viper V770 TNT2 ULTRA 32MB work with an Intel D850MV mobo. The video card supports AGP 4x but somehow its not working with my new 850mv mobo. When booted there is no display. I read about the fact that this mobo supports 4x agp card with a specific voltage...but since Im no techie, I am not sure if my card qualifies for this mobo. Anyone has experience with this combo. I dont wanna spend money on a geforce 3 now and would like to wait for the geforce 4. Any suggestions?

There was an article, if you have a notch, or something, the 1.5v article for agp buses... anyone know where that is... please link for us !!

My V770 got that little retenrion notch so judging by that it should be ok.

The one thing I can think of is that you must change some jumpers on the card to make it run in x4 mode.

That little leaflet appears to be long gone but from the Diamond site we are told the following:

For reference, the jumper settings are as follows:

1X/2X:
J1-3: Open
J4: A-B

4X:
J1-3: Closed
J4: B-C

Hi,
thanks for this input. Like I said, I am no techie , but I am trying to do this myself. I have located the 4 jumpers on the card. They are JP1, JP2, JP3, JP4. Currrently, JP1,2 and 3 are open. JP4 has a socket on one of its three pins. I presume that means each of those 3 pins on JP4 are designated A,B and C.

Now from what I understand, I have to close the 3 open jumpers JP1,2,3 and change the socket position on the 3 pin JP4 with the other pin? Am i right? Or am I totally lost.
