diamond viper v770 (non ultra)

my father has the above graphics card ,could someone tell me the best drivers for it.was thinking of going with the detonator drivers i use with my riva tnt any help would be helpful,he is running windows Me

ps he doesn't have original drivers

Use the latest detonators from the nvidia site, they should work well.

Heres the thing, I have a bunch of them too but I never bench them.. over on the videos' forum, people have told me all the detonators after certain version are optimized for geforce and actually slower on the tnt.. though I dont know this I wouldn't run old drivers anyway...

So the new one should be okay but i have no idea if it's true about the optimization.

i found the 6.x series is very stable for that card, but the latest detinators are probably just as good

The 2.08s were the fastest for the TNT2s for a long time, although the 3.X series was a nice mix of performance and stability. Didn't have my v770 after that, so I can't really comment on the later drivers.

when I had a TNT2 Ultra in my main gaming rig (V770U) I used the Detonator 5.08 drivers, later upgraded to the 5.22, I thought the 5.08 were a hair faster, I loved those drivers on that card.. rock solid!
