hey gang..

so I got my hands on a really old video card from a friend.. anyone know what chipset this thing uses?

more to the point.. I wanna know what drivers I can use on this puppy . )

I think it's TNT.. not sure, if it is a TNT then I can use the Nvidia drivers, right?

anyone know the real deal with this card?

It's still the card I have in my machine right now. It's a TNT-1 chip, and I'm using the latest reference drivers from Nvidia. In case your wondering, I'm jsut waiting for my student loan so I can get rid of this ancient thing.

yea well dig this bro..

my pc?
it's a 1 gig Athlon..

but the mobo is a pcchips M810 [sis730 chipset, onboard everything, cheap sucky thing]

anyhows to make a long story short.. I bought a Hercules 3d Prophet 4500.. hoping to make that my new cool vga..

guess what?

turns out mobo don't support it!

the onboard vga is like a Sis 16 MB..

so I'm planning on using this card to be my primary vga...

-sigh- this bites.. I'm using an old card on a new pc..

and I'm going to be using the hercules-card on my old Dell P3450 :p

oh well . ) thanx for the tip friend! I'll be downloading the latest drivers from nvidia.. I hope they work with this card on XP . )

Use the 3.68 drivers with this card, or something below th 4.0 dets. The origional TNT is slow with the new drivers. Sorry, can't tell you where to find them.
