So now I'm torn on vid cards. I have this one right now (Radeon 9600se 128mb), but could trade it on for this one (DIAMOND STEALTH AGP 256MB ATI V-CARD RADEON 9550).

I can't find any info on this card, so does anyone know anything about it? Pros/cons? I won't be doing any real gaming on my computer, but I do wasn to make sure my choice is sound.

Thanks,
T

Just search for benchmarks and reviews (in google obviously) for the radeon 9550. Don't let the "cool name" fool you. Its just a 9550, not a great card. I don't know how it will fare compared to a 9600se though.

the Radeon 9600SE has a 64-bit memory bus and the 9550 has a 128-bit bus, however neither make any difference unless your gaming. DH.

Most 9550's can overclock past standard 9600 settings, and the 9550 is slightly faster than a 9600se anyway, so it will be the better card (9550) but not by much.
