Hi I have this combo now and before I got the radeon 8500 I had AIW radeon and all was good. My problem now is I cant stand to be in front of pc for more than 30 min without my eyes killing me. Refresh rates are at 85 hz but Im having to turn my volts down on my monitor from 0.7 to 1.0, now the picture looks alot better at higher volts but its just to bright. anyone having anykind of troubles similar to this? any input would be great thanks
 
I don't have an 8500, but under ATI's advanced display settings the color tab usually has a setting to adjust brightness. You might give that a try.
 
Thanks yes I have played with all the settings and in order to get a Brightness that is easy on the eyes the picture quality goes down. perhaps I am just getting old and need a different monitor or need to be 4 feet away from my Mitsubishi dont know.
