Diamond 3870 1GB 512-bit GDDR3

I just noticed this card on newegg.

I searched for some reviews but could not find any yet. Just wondering if the 1GB and 512-bit interface will make it compete with the 8800gt/gts. (somehow I doubt it) At $300 I would hope so since its more than both by a decent sum. If anyone finds some reviews please post. Thanks in advance.

I think it will make a difference if you use large textures in some games. For example, my modded Oblivion textures use almost a GB when I play. Their default core clock is the same as mine but my 3870 only has 512MB ot GDDDR RAM.
