Dialing in for email......help

I need some suggestions. I have sales people in the field that need to dial in, to our network (we host our own email). What is a secure way to do this? The sales people have Ipaq handhelds with modems. Right now its no problem dialing in to earthlink, but now we need to dial in to our own network. Any ideas for me?

hmm.. using palm devices..

quite a few solutions, here would be the most effective:

get a copy of Citrix Metaframe XP and put it on a server with a few modems/a modem pool. Have them install the Citrix Client for Windows CE and have them use that to establish a connection with the citrix server, once on the citrix server the rest is cake, they have access to most network resources. - This solution is NOT a cheap solution, citrix is quite an expensive product ($2500 + Licenses) but well worth it.

If this solution seems too big or too complicated let me know and I will post another?

p.s. (wonder if I will get flamed from spidey for helping this person.)
