I use an internal PCI modem to connect to my office's Windows network using dial-up networking (I then use PCAnywhere to access my workstations). I also have a Cable modem which I use to connect over the internet to my office's Citrix server; my ISP uses DHCP; I think I my workstation is set to auto-detect most internet settings.
When working from home, I frequently have occasion to need both connections (some applications on my workstation are not published through Citrix). I find that I cannot connect using both methods simultaneously. If I am connected through cable modem/citrix and try to establish another connection using dial up net working, I lose my citrix connection. If I am connected through dial up networking, my home PC tries to use the office network for all internet connections.
Is there a way I can connect through dial-up networking, but configure my PC to use the cable modem/lan to connect to the internet?
