Dial up -> DSL Router, problem

My router has been playing up, so I unplugged it and put my modem back in. Now I have new DNS numbers to try from my ISP so i want to go back to the router.

I have deleted my dial up connection and out the numbers (gateway and DNS) for the router, however Win2k doesnt seem to want to use the router. I suspect there is a setting i need to change as it may still be looking for a dial up connection

Help is appreciated

cheers

make sure TCP/IP is bound to your ethernet adapter as well as your dial up adapter. if you don't need the DUN anymore, go ahead and remove the binding. if there is no binding for your adapter -> tcp/ip add it in and select 'DHCP' if you're on a cable/DSL network and you should be ready to go. HTH.
