Diagnostics help...

Just ran some diagnostics and got back several results that show my system is running under par.
Fisrt off, my system is:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
ASUS A8V Deluxe
1GB Corsair XMS 3200
Leadtek 6600 GT
WD 200GB SATA
Maxtor 200GB
Maxtor 160GB
NEC DVD RW
Samsung DVD-ROM

Here are some of the results that concern me a bit:

The processor performance of this system, 2971 MIPS (millions of integer operations per second), is significantly lower than similar systems with the same type of processor running at the same clock rate, which perform at 5902 MIPS, on average.

Memory performance of this system 3910 megabytes per second, is significantly lower than average. Systems with the same processor and amount of memory typically perform at a level of 7493 MB/s.

Video performance of this system, 60.02 megapixels per second, is significantly lower than average (217 Mp/s)

These are the main areas of concern to me. All of the suggested fixes were to turn off running programs during the test. That didn't do it.

Any suggestions?

Ok..... figured out the CPU and RAM issue. I had the cool and quite feature enabled in bios so the processer was running at a lower voltage (dugh). Disabled cool and quite and those specs are fine now.

Still showing that my video is running under spec. About 50% of what it should be. Installed the latest drivers, no luck.

Thanks for the input! If anyone else can help with the video troubleshooting, I would appreciate it!

Max sorry i can't offer any help, but i've been wondering about the performance of my machine. How did you do the diagnoastics? and where did you get the benchmark figures at? Thanks.

Those particular specs came from PC Pitstop. They have a free diagnostics test they will run and offer tips on how to fix any problems that might show up. You can find them Here.
I am going to run 3DMark and post the results to the video forum to see if I can get any more response with some ideas.

Good luck to you!
