Diagnostics for old EPOX 8KRA2+ mainboard?

I've got a blue screen problem with XP Pro after I upgraded some peripherals. Microsoft Tech Support hasn't been able to come up with an answer why I'm getting an IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error screen after the hardware changes. I am talking to EPOX tech support.

I went from IDE HDD's to SATA (two Seagate 320GB 7200.10) I am not using RAID for now. That's the change in hardware, although I have a 450W Fortron power supply and a GeForce 7600 GS AGP 512MB video card to add if I get the problem solved.

Existing stuff:
Epox 8KRA2+ (latest BIOS 8/11/04 flashed)
AMD Athlon XP 1.8Ghz CPU
2GB Mushkin DDR 400 RAM
onboard LAN and AC97 Sound
ATI Radeon 7200 AGP 64MB video card

Windows XP Pro SP2 plus all updates including IE7

What diagnostic software out there might help me? Is there a BIOS setting that I might have inadvertently changed that can cause a stupid IRQ conflict? Windows tells me nothing about potential conflicts.

Please don't tell me that SATA 3 drives can't really work with this SATA1.5 Mobo...

Any help with this old machine would be appreciated.

Dave
