Diagnostic software - CPU might be too hot

I've been told several times how AMD cpus are sensitive to heat, but the only temp
indication I can find is in the bios screens when it is not really under any pressure. :roll:

Anyone know of a Windows diagnostic utility that could monitor cpu temp so I could see results from the desktop?

Everest home edition monitors cpu temps amongst a whole load of other things. It's a great bit of software to keep on the desktop.

Unfortunately lavalys, have discontinued the (free) home edition, but its still on http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Everest-Home-Edition.shtml so get it while you can!
