Diagnosing an issue(bootup)

I recently was having video driver crashes, and I hadn't freshly installed windows in a while, so I did. And that pretty much stopped the video driver crashes.

However, also happening before this was sometimes when I restarted the PC, it would hang at the point in bootup where the Windows logo appears. It's still happening after reinstall, and with more frequency.

Is this likely to be an SSD issue? That's the drive my Windows is on, 60GB Vertex 2. If not, what else could it be?

It very well could be an SSD issue. If you have a spare HDD laying around, try doing a test install of Windows on that (don't activate or enter a product key).
