Diag Boot CD for Windows 8/EFI

I am looking to create a bootable CD/USB that will boot in a EFI/GPT laptop without having to mess around in the BIOS.

Currently, I am using grub4dos to run mostly DOS tools i.e. partition magic. In order to get this to work in a EFI/GPT laptop I have to disable UEFI and secure boot. This is not a problem except I need this to be as idiot-proof as possible.

Would Windows PE work? but then I wouldn't be able to run DOS tools?
