Hi all,
Got a strangen problem with Diablo2, probalbly driver problem but a bit unsure.

When i start the game in D3D i get a "Scrambled" image it is not possible to see anything.

I am using Athlon 550-K7V Bios 1005.
Creative Geforco Pro-Detonator 5.22 drivers.

Could this has anything to do with fastwrites or AGP X4????.

Anyone experienced similar problems but managed to solve them???

Regards

Johan

Well you could get the 524 (or are they 525) or 530 drivers and try them. You could also make sure you're running dx7.0a. Then try the tech supp pages on battle.net or the tech supp forums over there.

Try the 5.30 drivers from Nvidia. They are only beta, but they solved a lot of problems for me in D2 🙂.

Before it locked up hard which is a rare thing in win2k but now everything just run like melted butter 😛.

Maybe something is wrong with the 5.22 :|

My good friend had that exact same problem. I think it has to do with drivers. I don't know what version he was using tho. I went home to my place with almost the exact same setup with the most recent drivers and it worked fine for me.

I think D3D for the game is a waste tho but that is probably because it seems to slow down my system.

well, i'm using hte 5.30's in win2k, and i still have to do window 🙁. Its fine, i just drop my desktop res to 800x600 and the game does look fine, and it runs great.
